On January 1, 2018, a new Suffolk County law will go into effect, charging a five-cent fee for plastic and paper carryout bags, at a variety of retail stores. Those in support of the fee believe it will protect the environment. Those against view it as a tax that will hurt local businesses. Look we don't have to redevelop Belmont. The transport system won't bear the extra traffic. The Coliseum area can. But we fouled that up before. The problem in this county is we can't get anything done. Every one wants theirs. Sounds like the whole country though. I suggest giving this Idea to Sydney Aus. I know they can get it together.

Great

I would say it would be an awsome idea, we could use something more interesting in our county than a drug rehab center, but, with taxes and wages being what they are it would be cost prohibitive and the area isn't really very family safe!
