According to Newsday only four homeowners out of 4000 have gotten their money after Hurricane Sandy. Where are the local politicians who should be publicly advocating for their constituents?

money

I say if we are going to help, then lets do it already, if the politicians were to do the right thing, they would twist insurance companies arms to make sure they pay up, but politicians don't think they work for us. These people should have had insurance to start with. What good does it do for the Feds to give it if it isn't going to the intended purpose? The local politicians are hoping to spend it to benefit themselves! Few things work well when politicians are involved. They always make it super difficult to apply and use what ever promised resources are offered....

don't understand why so many people say don't give them the money. How unnatural! How can one trust these polls
