On January 1, 2018, a new Suffolk County law will go into effect, charging a five-cent fee for plastic and paper carryout bags, at a variety of retail stores. Those in support of the fee believe it will protect the environment. Those against view it as a tax that will hurt local businesses. Would you support Nassau County imposing a five-cent fee on plastic and paper carryout bags?

Every other part of NY the Metro area has them except Long Island.

Create an oversight board for Nassau County's water districts

There are 46 separate water districts in Nassau County and there needs to be and oversight board to foster communication and share information among them.

Is anyone else incensed by the way the county handles upkeep of the flora and fauna? They cut the grass and only when it gets to the 3 foot height and to top it off, they only cut the first ten feet of it! It’s looking like that documentary "50 years after people" as though we have all become extinct and there is no one to maintain the environment! We pay the highest taxes in the nation.....

Inspect every bridge and overpass in Nassau and prioritize need of repair

With the recent collapse of the bridge in Washington State leadership should be proactive in inspecting bridges and overpasses in need of repair.
